The CG1100 is a XO module IC with a programmable architecture that includes a configurable Pierce oscillator input stage with center frequency tuning. By accepting a wide range of resonator inputs the CG1100 can produce customized frequency signals up to 200MHz with jitter and phase noise performance that is superior to PLL designs. On board memory and single pin programming allow for configuration and tuning during production. Available in a 2mm x 2mm QFN package, the CG1100 is ideal for making low phase noise XO modules in Kyocera ceramic packages.
